You will own the rights to your photos. So after shooting and editing, I‘ll give them to you. If I want to post your photos on my website and social media accounts I‘ll need to get your permission first.  Before starting, we will sign an agreement spelling this out.  You can click here to view the agreement. 

Different portrait styles exist including Classic, Hollywood Glamour, Lifestyle, Artistic, Intimate, Elegant, Sultry, Casual, Rock Star!, and Renaissance. I‘ll offer style suggestions based on what I think will work for your look and personality. But the final choice will come down to which ones you like and are excited to explore.  You can view some style example photos below. 

I invited you because you’re beautiful and unique. While traditional models also share these qualities, I prefer working with non-professionals to help create a real and authentic experience. Your photos should reflect your intrinsic beauty and personality, offering a chance to see yourself in ways perhaps you may not have before. 

Unfortunately, many women don’t see themselves as beautiful.  Either you’ve been told to compare yourself to an impossibly high standard, or you‘re an older woman made to believe only youth is beautiful.  The only thing I can say is you’re here because I see beauty in you. And, I am hoping through this process you will see it too. 

Yes, you can bring as many people as you like and makes you feel comfortable. Depending on the portrait style, locations may include a studio, home, beach, nature, city street or wherever makes sense. 

In addition to whoever you bring, it will be myself and maybe a stylist. 

The final decision on which style to shoot is yours. If you choose to explore the Intimate or Artistic style, there may be some nudity. If you defer style choice to me and nudity might work for you, I’ll suggest it. The final decision, however, is still yours. 

Clothes, makeup and hair will depend on the portrait style.  I‘ll have clothes for you or we’ll use items you already own. It depends what fits the style and makes you feel comfortable. As for hair and makeup, ideally, we’d have someone do that for you which I would work to make happen. 

You can expect 1 to 2 sessions lasting 2 to 4 hours each.   We’ll set shoot dates and times according to both of our availability.

Once you decide to give this a try we’ll set up an in-person meeting. The purpose is to get to know more about you, answer your questions and begin choosing a portrait style. If we don’t finish in the first meeting we’ll meet again to finalize on a style and schedule.
